When asked if there was something that could bring Peyton pure joy, his parents quickly replied, “a way for him to be able to play with his siblings and friends and to help his dad feed the family’s animals.” Peyton is a young boy and Bert’s Big Adventure 2019 participant who was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II a year ago. Peyton is a true champ while wheelchair bound and has stayed strong through several surgeries in hope of helping his muscle atrophy. When Bert’s Big Adventure asked learned about Peyton’s wish for physical freedom, we knew we had to help in any way we could. With the help of Bert’s Big Adventure, Mountain Motorsports and The Color Spot, we were able to make his wish a reality!
Robert and Justin Price, co-founders of Mountain Motorsports, surprised Peyton with the news that he would be receiving a Polaris ACE 150 EFI during The Bert Show broadcast at Bert’s Big Adventure’s 2019 send-off celebration. In the middle of the broadcast, Spiderman and Thor rolled up in the new ACE 150 from behind a curtain, causing amazing Peyton to burst into tears of joy.
After Peyton and his family returned from Bert’s Big Adventure, our co-owner Mike Wilson picked up the ACE 150 and delivered it to Peyton’s house as a surprise. The enormous smile on his face during his first ride in his new vehicle was absolutely priceless. It was an honor to help out such an amazing family. Echo Tech is proud to be a long-time partner of Bert’s Big Adventure and our team can’t wait to help make another inspirational kid’s dream come true.
